Pool
Closure
The Santa Monica Swim Center will reopen on
Monday, January 5th, 2009. However, due to
bad weather conditions, construction and repairs to
the facility were delayed. Currently the pools are
not at a suitable temperature. The
Fitness Pool is closed and will
not be open until further notice. Please check this
website periodically for updates or call the Swim
Center before your visit. |

Ever wonder when the most lap swim lanes are available?
Does your workout schedule change frequently? Our
new “Swim Lane Availability” link gives an hour by
hour look at the number of swim lanes available in
each pool. |

Reminder
Groups or individuals desiring to provide coaching
or instruction at the Santa Monica Swim Center must
obtain a permit. Private instruction (one-on-one) is
not permissible. Permit guidelines and applications
can be obtained at the Santa Monica Swim Center. |
